Is Matthew Muller Still Married? 

In December 2022, Dai asked for a divorce in San Mateo County. Court papers show that the case for ending the marriage is still open. Muller is still formally married because of this.

What Happened to Denise Huskins? 

In March 2015, Muller took Huskins hostage. One night, he broke into her and her boyfriend Aaron Quinn’s house and bound and gagged them by covering their eyes. He then gave them drugs. Muller took Huskins hostage and took her to his mother’s house in South Lake Tahoe, California, where he raped her twice and filmed the attacks. Muller told Huskins that he would put the tapes on the internet if she or Quinn told the cops.

Huskins’ father was talking to the press, and Muller saw it. He drugged her again and took her to Hunting Beach, California. Muller told Huskins that he would “always be watching” her if she ever told the police about the kidnapping or that he was in the military when she woke up. Muller joined the Marines after high school. He went to Harvard Law School and got his law degree. He worked as an immigration lawyer until he was kicked out of the bar in 2013.

Where Is Mathew Muller Now? 

At FCI Tucson in Arizona, Muller is doing his time for crimes. Following his guilty plea to a federal charge of kidnapping in 2017, he was given a 40-year prison term. That same year, Muller admitted no contest to two counts of rape and guilty to robbery of an unoccupied dwelling, residential burglary, and false imprisonment. He was then given an extra 31 years in prison.
