According to The Verge, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is going to discuss the company’s “AI vision across hardware and software.” On May 20, the exclusive event will, however, not be available over the Internet, as the report indicates it will be restricted to reporters with invites from Microsoft.
Nadella continued that no doubt, AI holds the potential to have the greatest possible impact and be truly a kind of a revolution in the way people and robots relate to technology.
It looks like the tech giant of the world is finally going to elaborate on the upcoming AI features in Windows and some Surface devices. Microsoft announced on Monday that they plan to hold an event on March 21, where they will announce a series of AI-related features arriving for Windows 11 and Surface devices.
The digital event is called the “New Era of Work” and will take place tomorrow at 9:00 am PDT (10:30 pm IST). But while the May event will be one of the points when the business-class devices will point their attention to it, the second event, rather, March 21, could be the time and place for Microsoft to reveal the consumer-market-oriented Surface Laptop 6 and Surface Pro 10 devices.
In power, the computers are expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, and it contains a special neural processing unit to boost AI-driven operations on the Windows 11 device.
Software-wise, Microsoft apparently seems to be getting ready to make several new features live, with the most rumored to be the “AI Explorer.” This empowers users to look for previously taken actions, much like the once-deprecated Timeline feature for Windows 10, tapping into the generative AI capability.
