The top-rated radio stars signed a huge $200 million contract with KIIS FM last year, and while they may not need any introduction to most Aussies, they still decided to introduce themselves to their new Victorian audience and it was about as profane as you would expect.
Saying it was a “big day” for the duo, Kyle introduced to himself to new listeners as a “coke-sniffing asshole” and “ex-f**k boy”, while Jackie confirmed to no one asking that she was “STI free”.
More of the crew were introduced to Melbourne fans, with newsreader Brooklyn Ross admitting he once had crabs, and show director Bruno Bouchet introducing himself by saying “despite being straight, I love getting pegged”.
The spicy start to the morning did actually win over new fans, with comments flooding the shock jock duo’s Instagram account.
“Just listened to your first 30mins. What a great start!! Killed it,” Michelle Bridges wrote. “Welcome to Melbourne guys,” Julia Morris commented.
“YESSSSSSSSS! 👑👑 The King & Queen have arrived!!!!!! WOO HOOOOO!” another fan said, while someone else commented, “Best 6am show opener ever!!!”
“Welcome to Melbourne, love it!” another fan said.
