Samantha R. Anskate, 29, of Georgetown (Greene Twp.), died suddenly at her home in Georgetown on Saturday morning, September 7, 2024.
She was born in Sewickley on January 26, 1995. Her parents, Sherree D. Clifton and Randy Wilson, and her grandparents, Alexander J. Anskate and Cherry Wright, loved her very much. She loved her children very much: Tessa Anskate, Charlotte Caler, Lester Caler, Chase Hall, Maryaa Hall, and Cheyenne Hall. Bryce Hall, her fiancé, is also still alive.

She is the sister of David Reed, Courtney Wilson, Daniel Wilson Jr., Jesse “Opie” Wilson, Isabella Anskate, Alexandra Anskate, and Jocelyn Rettinger. She is the niece of Alda Russo, Jessie Kelly, and Rita Formosa. Shirley Russo, her maternal grandma, and many other family members and friends are also still alive.
Samantha’s family and children were the center of her life. Being outside in nature, gardening, taking walks with Bryce, homesteading, baking, and spending time with her dogs brought her the most happiness.

Visitation will be held at the McConnell Funeral Home, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, on Friday, September 13 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in honor of the person who died. It will be a private service for her. Donations can be sent directly to the funeral home if you’d like, and they will be used to help her children.
