What Challenges Did Bergie and Taylor Face in ‘Love Island U.S.A.’?
When Bergie got to the Love Island U.S.A. house, he was honest about the fact that he had never been on a date before. On the first day, he was paired up with Anna Kurdy when host Sarah Hyland walked in and asked the islands to vote for the couple they thought was the least compatible.
Since Anna and Bergie were both picked by their co-stars, they had to decide who was going home. Bergie chose to leave because he was a gentleman, leaving Anna alone in the house.
Bergie wasn’t sent on a plane out of Fiji, though. Instead, she was taken on a date with two shocking news. Bergie eventually went back to the villa to continue his trip, but it wasn’t until the relationship test Casa Amor that he really felt a connection with the hotel manager.
Bergie was crazy about the Texas native, but his family wasn’t so sure. Bergie’s grandfather, after whom he is named, thought his bond with Taylor wasn’t real when they got video calls from home.
His grandfather said, “Taylor is a beautiful woman, but I have some doubts.” “Because I haven’t seen natural chemistry between the two of you.” I think it looks a little forced.
Bergie and Taylor became boyfriend and girlfriend on their last date, even though Bergie’s family didn’t believe they were dating.
Taylor told him during the August 28 episode, “To be honest, I didn’t have any hopes coming in here. I had no idea that I would find a connection like we have.” I enjoy being around you because you make me feel unique and important.

The fans of season 5 of Love Island U.S.A. chose Bergie and Taylor as the third-place couple.
After leaving the reality TV show, Bergie and Taylor have kept dating outside of the house.
“I went completely out of my comfort zone and went on a dating show! I put my heart out there for everyone to see, and tried to pursue a romantic connection while being filmed!” the Minnesota native captioned a reflective birthday post via Instagram on September 1. “Some may say I failed miserably, especially if you were watching those first few episodes! But, I ended up accomplishing everything I wanted to and more! I met Taylor and our relationship continues to grow and I can’t wait to see what this year brings for us!”
