Sheila Eschenfelder’s Lasting Legacy

Sheila made many important services to her community. She was a longtime member of both the Narrow Road Riders Motorcycle Club and the First Baptist Church of Fairview Heights. She embodied the spirit of community and active participation. She loved going to craft fairs, flea markets, and just feeding the animals near her house for fun. This showed that she valued all of life’s different events.

As a career, Sheila worked hard as a medical assistant, taking care of and helping the doctors and patients at a Belleville medical group. As well as her work and volunteer work, Sheila loved her collection of toy animals, especially bears and bunnies. Each one held a special memory or story for her.
