Julie Morris and Ryan Hurd’s divorce is now official.
It was officially announced by a judge in Nashville on Tuesday that the country stars, who got married in 2018, are no longer together. This happens three months after Morris asked for the end of their marriage on October 2, saying they could no longer live together.
The singer of “Circles Around This Town” first asked Hurd to end their marriage on Oct. 2, saying they had “irreconcilable differences.” She also named the date they separated as the day she filed.
Then, in January, the ex-couple came to an agreement on everything that had to do with their split. There was a property settlement agreement and a prenup that Morris, 33, and Hurd, 37, signed in February 2018 and changed in October 2022. These documents were used to divide up their things.
They also agreed on a parenting plan that said Morris would pay Hurd $2,100 a month in child support and spend equal time with their 3-½-year-old son Hayes Andrew.
Morris and Hurd both passed the parenting course that Davidson County requires for all divorce cases with children.

She posted a TikTok video in December singing Tammy Wynette’s country hit “D-I-V-O-R-C-E,” with the words “Our D-I-V-O-R-C-E becomes final today.” This led to the divorce.
The Humble Quest singer talked to Howard Stern earlier in December about her life after the breakup and said she’s not in the right “headspace” for dating.
Stern asked her if she was meeting anyone right now. She said, “No, I’d like this to sort of wrap up.” “I’m too busy writing right now to think about that.” Basically, that’s how I date: through music.”
The star also said, “A lot of close friends and family have been through” something similar this year. She said, “I know a lot of people who have been through breakups or divorces.”
Morris and Hurd met in 2013 while writing songs for Tim McGraw. They got married in Nashville in March 2018 after dating for almost three years.
