Christian singer Mandisa Hundley was found dead in her Franklin home on April 18 at the age of 47. The reason of her death was confirmed by a medical examiner.
Dr. Feng Li told The Tennessean that the Grammy-winning singer of “Overcomer” died because of problems related to being class III obeseity. Li said that her death was reported as natural.
A spokeswoman for Mandisa said they just found out about the autopsy results on Tuesday and told the media to talk to her family about any questions.
The Tennessean asked for a copy of the singer’s autopsy on April 19, but as of Tuesday, they still didn’t have it.
Mandisa Lynn Hundley was born in Citrus Heights, California. She learned to sing with the famous Fisk University Jubilee singers in Nashville and earned a bachelor’s degree in music from there in 2000.
