Robert Paul Huey died on June 7, 2024. He was 68 years old. Everyone who knew him loved him and will miss him a lot. He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Ernest Henry and Emilie Jane Huey had a son named Robert on September 15, 1955, in Rochester, Minnesota. He was the seventh boy out of eight. He liked taking things apart as a kid to see how they worked. Softly, he fixed things and moved his little brother around all the time. He often saw things that needed to be done and did them because he knew they were important.
He has always been funny and loved telling jokes. His father taught him these skills. He lived with his older brother Mike and his family after high school while he went to night school to learn how to fix truck engines. He kept going to school after school to become a master heavy-duty diesel mechanic.
Huey and Maria Charlene were together for almost 38 years. They built homes in Firestone, Northglenn, Conifer, and Lakewood because they loved living in Colorado with their children and grandkids. They had fun on all of their trips to Minnesota to see his family. He always had a car in the shed working on it. He also plowed snow, cut firewood, and helped anyone who needed it.

He traveled a lot for work and liked meeting new people during his 38 years at Coca-Cola. People knew him for how hard he worked, how good he was at mechanics, and how ready he was to help others and make them laugh. He quit his job at Coke in 2018 and moved again with Maria Charlene. This time they chose to live in the small Wyoming town of Guernsey.
