Chris-Michelle Marie Janicki (Yonker), who was born on December 13, 1989, and her baby boy Xavier Ignatius died on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. David loved Chris more than anything else in the world they were married for more than six beautiful years. They have two lovely kids together: Jackson, 6, and Theodore, 3. Chris was the most loving mother you could ever meet.
She raised and guided her boys to become great young men. Chris was her mother Patricia Gulis-Yonker’s rock and a place to talk about life’s bumps, and she was also a huge support for her sister Kimberly Yonker. E.D. Yonker loved his daughter Chris very much.
Chris graduated from Western Michigan University in 2012 and then worked as a Registered Dietitian in long-term care homes, where she helped take care of people. It brought her so much joy to talk to patients and She knew what she could do to help them. She worked for a while before deciding to stay home with her boys and give them the best education she could.
She did a great job. It’s not possible to fix the hole Chris made. Everyone liked being around her because she was calm, her laugh was contagious, and she was kind. People will always remember how much Chris loved her family and how much she treasured the time they spent together. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to help the people around her, and she was naturally kind.
On Tuesday, March 26, at 11 a.m., there will be a funeral at St. Anthony of Padua, 2510 Richmond St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. On Monday, March 25, from 5 pm to 8 pm, people can visit her family at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW. On Tuesday, from 10 am to 11 am, they can do the same at church.
