In an interview with TMZ on Friday at LAX, Judge Mathis talked about how he’s feeling and how he’s handling the breakup.

“I’m not worthy…” He said, “These are the worst days of my life.” Mathis said, “I’m not holding up very well,” indicating that he is having a hard time coping.
He said that his busy job and way of life were factors in their breakup, and he admitted that he may not have paid enough attention to his wife over the years.

Even though the divorce started on July 17, according to court records, Mathis is still upbeat. The couple still lives together, and he said he was determined to get back together with her. He said, “I’m trying to get my wife back.” “I possess the duty to exhibit that… I hope I can show her while we’re there, and I hope she doesn’t finish the process.
