Sean Patterson, 58, of Boone, died on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at his home. No one knows about the death reason.
Patrick Sean Patterson was born at the Boone County Hospital on April 24, 1965. He is the son of Robert Patterson and Judy (née Brown) Patterson. The wedding took place on September 12, 2008.
Sean went to Northwest Missouri State University after graduating from Boone High School in 1984. Many people in Boone knew him from his time as a manager at the nearby Hy-Vee grocery store for more than 20 years. Anyone who knew Sean knew they could always count on him to make them laugh or have a good time.
He loved being outside and spent a lot of his free time doing so. He was also very good at taking care of his family’s land and its natural resources. He also liked riding bikes, playing tennis, and doing other sports. Sean liked to learn new things and knew a lot about the past, especially the history of his area.
His stories were an important part of every family get-together. He loved his family and was a dedicated husband. His kindness will be missed very much.
His father, Robert Patterson, his mother, Judy Patterson, and his brother, Kevin Patterson, all died before him.
Besides his wife Amanda (née Messerly) Patterson and their children Alanna, Brenden, Connor, Tauri, and Brady Patterson, Sean also leaves behind a sister, Terri Todd, a niece, Rylee Patterson, and nephews, Mason and Quinn Patterson.
